Athirappilly Falls is the largest waterfall in Kerala and is nicknamed “The Niagara of South India”. These waterfalls became famous not just for their view, but for the endemic species of hornbills found in the surrounding dense forests. Athirapally Waterfalls never dry out and can be visited anytime during the year. However, though the waterfall appears in its full glory during monsoons, heavy rains cause inconvenience. So, the best time to visit is from September to January.
Valparai is known for being the only hill station in India to have 12 dams .Valparai is Called “7th Heaven”, This pollution free heavenly land is located above 3,500 feet from the sea level on the Anamalai mountain range. Valparai does not mean only a single town; it stands majestically with Green Spread Mountains and forest all around.
Valparai (originally known as Poonachimalai) is a Taluk and hill station in the Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu, India. It consists of Anamalai Tiger Reserve (earlier known as Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park (IGWLS&NP) and prior to that as Anaimalai Wildlife Sanctuary).
This place has number of tea and coffee estates surrounded by thick forest. Upper Sholayar Dam (15 km) is a fantastic place to visit from Valparai. Other important places to visit include Nirar Dam (7 km), Aliyar Dam (30 km), Monkey Falls (24 km), Balaji temple (Karimalai -15 km), Velankanni Church (Karimalai – 15 km), Pancha Mugha Vinayagar Koil (Near Sholayar) etc. In addition to sightseeing, travellers can also engage in trekking and can also make a visit to the tea estates.

Day 01: Athirappilly
Proceed to Athirappilly Resort. Visiting water falls as per your convenience .
Overnight stay in the Resort.
Day 02: Valparai
Arrival at Airport / Railway Station and move to Valparai and visit the second deepest dam in the continent of Asia-Aliyar Dam–a reservoir located 27 kms away from pollachi on the foothills of Valparai, The dam offers some ideal gateways including a park, an aquarium and a mini Theme-Park maintained by Tamilnadu Fisheries Corporation. It is an ideal picnic spot. Move to Monkey Falls-9th kms junction on the Pollachi-Valparai road. a magnificient falls situated near Aliyar Dam between Pollachi and Valparai in the Anamalai Hills. After lunch, drive to the mesmerizing view pointi.e., Loam’s View Point–9th hair pin bend on the Pollachi-Valparai route from where you get the panoramic view from Aliyar Dam, the surrounding mountains of Western Ghats and the Pollachi town.
Return back to the hotel / resort. Overnight stay.
Day 03: Valparai
After breakfast sightseeing in Valparai visit: Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary – Chinnakallar falls, ,Sholayar Dam, Nizar Dam,Balaji Temple , Koolangal River ,and Tea Estates etc… Departure
